Dave, You don't need to attack my business to advertise yours. I gather you are still learning teh etchics of business ! What I am offering is the opportunity for startups to build their own websites without them having to fork out a fortune to a webdesigner . "No skills needed, no HTML, no scripts... New advances in internet technology have made it possible for anyone to create a website without any programming knowledge". The registered address for my domain is a Post office box number so as to filter unsolcited mail And this is what I will always advise people to do. There are contact details on the site if you had searched properly. I don't need to put my pciture on my site as you have done. What else do you need? The bus route to my flat and the door number? Doing a WHOIS search doesn't tell you anything about any company. It only tells you who the domain is registered to and contact information. Do your search well and you will find more about my company. Or perhaps you may want to pay for a full report from the likes of Dun and Bradstreet or Kompass !

It was not an attack, but more of a warning to others to check for PROPER contact details before buying - we have many enquiries from small businesses that have purchased domains and web hosting, only to find the company they purchased from are no longer are in business and they are then unable change/move the domain name. If a company is reliant upon the Internet this type of situation can force it out of business. You said: "WHOIS search doesn't tell you anything about any company." VERY WRONG! The details held for a company domain name must be correct to ensure the owner is able to: - change/update the details (contacts, DNS, etc) - renew the domain To iterate - it was only a warning to others to check out a company before buying.
