The search is on to find the market leaders of the future and the entrepreneurs behind them with the launch of the Fast Growth Business Awards 2007.
The competition, which aims to find the best performing and most dynamic mid-market companies judged by a panel of some of the UK’s best-known business leaders, is run by Growing Business magazine in association with T-Mobile.
Business leaders have the chance to put their company’s success firmly in the spotlight by entering one of 13 categories, which include online and innovative businesses in addition to more traditional business sectors.
There are also awards for the most successful AIM IPO, PLUS IPO and venture capital backed business, as well as the crown recognition of T-Mobile Fast Growth Company of the Year.
The most impressive entries will be put through their paces by a judging panel of top entrepreneurs and business leaders, including Lord Karan Bilimoria, founder of Cobra Beer and Tim How, chief executive of Majestic Wines.
“This is your opportunity to shout to the rest of the business community about how innovative, smart and fast-moving your company is and measure yourself against your peers and the market,” said Ian Wallis, editor of Growing Business magazine.
All the short-listed companies will be invited to gala awards dinner in March 2007, which also promises to be one of the most exciting networking events of the year.
To be eligible to enter, businesses must have generated revenues for at least two years by 31 December 2006, with at least £1m turnover in past 12 months and fewer than 500 employees by 31 December 2006.
The closing date for entries is 15 December 2006. For an entry form visit www.fgba.co.uk/entryform.
