Hello everyone, lovely day here in London.
I have a problem... we print on average around 100 colour A4 pages a day, from both excel and word. They are personal training programmes so change all the time.
Does anyone know how we can decrease our printing costs? We've looked into getting a laser printer but by the time you add on the cost of cartridges and drums etc. we're not sure if it's going to be cheaper or not.
As always help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Keir

HI,
What about reducing the quality of the print, i.e. from 300dpi to 150 dpi? 50% reduction in printing costs straight away?
Have you tried sourcing the ink from Cartridge World or similar?
What about speaking with a local prontaprint to see if they can do it cheaper?
Hope these help

You could always outsource it, try www.15pprint.co.uk they offer full colour A4 printing on 100gsm white paper for 15p per sheet with a low minimum order. Oh and plus they offer same day service.

Thanks for all your advice guys... we've bitten the bullet and have splashed out on a color laser printer from HP. It's a beast!
Hopefully the short term pain (£330) will lead to some kind of long term gain.
Cheers,
Keir

Id recommend buying an inkjet refill kit. (There available from my online shop)
You simply buy a starter kit at the beginning which includes everything you need to get started (provided 3-6 refills) and then when that’s run out, you simply buy extra bottles of ink (also available from my online shop).
That’s how I lower my printing costs, costs much less than a laser printer swell.
Hope this helps,

Think you've gone for the right decision buying the colour laser. £330 seems a bit expensive though. We got our Samsung Colour Laser for £200 and it works a treat for what we need. The Black Toner Cartridge that came with the printer isn't a full one (as they never are with the printer new) and it has lasted over 1950 pages with the colour ones still going strong.
