I will be selling wholesale business to business and need a wholesale contract drawn up, and like alot of new start-up busniness dont have alot of cash to spend.
Can i just pinch another companies Terms & conditions and alter to suit or would people recommend getting a solicitor to draw one up for me. I had a quote from 1 firm of solicitors and for 1 .5 hours work they we charging £500.
Thanks .

Stanley,
Welcome to the forum. You can use other companies T & C's but make sure it covers everything you need. To be honest when it comes to your business I would get a professional opinion on it. £500 does sound a little high but as I am not a solicitor I can’t comment. I do however have lots of Solicitors I do work for and have a great relationship with all of them. If you can give me an idea of what you need I will be happy to get a quote for you. (Just in case you are wondering no I don’t get a %)
...I will just pass the business on
Get in touch if you would like me to help
Regards
Brettt

Stanley,
Ideally you'd get one drawn up, but I know many people have just modified a pre-existing document themselves until they can afford the extra expense. So at least you know you're not the first one to go down this route!
Perhaps you should try Business Link, (Business Gateway in Scotland) perhaps they'll have something generic you can use as an interim measure...

HI
Thanks Brett thats really kind of you, i have sent limeone an Email which Anglosino recommended, but if i get no joy from them i will take you up on your offer. I think i need to start off with a solid foundation so will go for the solicitors rather than a do it myself job (which lets face it would be crap as i am no solicitor!) But really dont know what the bill will be , so i'm keeping my fingers crossed it's not massive.
But many thanks for all your replies,
liz.
