Hi Nades and congrats on your decision.
First has to be office facilities; you will be interviewing a variety of personnel. How is your 'office' and security?
You will need insurances for this and possibly council permission -if you're considering doing it legally.
cheers, Nigel

Working for yourself - well done and good luck. Recruitment I am told is a £3BN industry in the UK but there seems to be alot of people doing it. I believe the company that has rewritten the model in this country is Jobsite, now owned by the Mirror Group. They have succeeded by taking recuitment adverts away from the conventional press.Their customers are recuitment companies.Their site is www.jobsite.com. Went to one of their venues recently and I was told deciding yr niche is very important and building up a mailing list of your target job seekers. However not in recruitment myself and this may be stuff you already know well.Anyway good luck

We have two clients who run very successful recruitment businesses from home. They both interview and meet their clients at their premises and meet their candidates in Regus meeting rooms. They offer unique services, one to logistics, the other IT and price accordingly with their niche market in mind. Let me know if you need help on sales as our conversion rates are high with both these clients.

I’ve got several clients in this industry with similar set ups.
All of them have worked in recruitment for many years before setting up on their own and had a large number of contacts before they started up. This enabled them to hit the ground running rather than starting from nothing.
Are you new to this area or are you in the industry at the moment? If you are new I would highly recommend a couple of years with a big name firm to learn the trade before starting off on your own.
