Hi All.
This forum is great for getting advice, but there are a couple of things I need some help with.
I have just set up a business with an experienced businessman who has 4 other businesses. He has asked that I see a solicitor to draw up a contract between us to say that we will have quarterly meetings to discuss whether we pay ourselves dividends or not.
How do I go about this, and how much will it cost.
ALSO,
Are there any grants or loans available for staff training as we want to train our staff so that we are the best agency in the city in our field. Obviously we need to do this before we hire them out, so we will need funding to get us moving. If there is anything available, how do I go about getting it.
I am 21 (not sure if that makes a difference)
Hope someone has the knowledge to help.
Stuart

He is referring to a director's share agreement I think. If you would like a quote for this please email me at info@limeone.com
If you can send through some information on what line of business you are in and ho wmany staff you have I can also send some info on training. Some of the funds are geographically allocated so I would need to know your rough location.

Try looking at the Small Business Service (www.sbs.gov.uk) for funding. Also, the DTI from time to time offer funding for training purposes (www.dti.gov.uk I think)
What line of business are you in?
