Hi guys, don't know if anyone will be able to help, but you never get anywhere without asking!
I have just taken on a new client who is a singer. She writes her own songs and we were at one of her gigs last night and she really impressed me. Her music quite similar to KT Tunstell, which to be honest really isn't the kind of music i would listen to but she really impressed me, which i think is a testiment to how good her music is!
Anyway, as i'm in the marketing field, have built up a few good contacts and i've known her for a few years i said i would help her out, and how knows she may be the next big thing!
Does anyone know people in the music, entertainment or media industries that i could contact about her?
I know its a long shot but its worth asking

I do have a friend who has worked for many record labels and radio stations but i cant give/pass on details... as he gets so many people contacting him saying they are the next big thing! I could, however, pass on a demo tape/cd/mp3, if *I* think its worth a try, plus pass on other details..... just this once!....PM me if interested

Something like this won't be easy you know!!!
A mate of mine knows Simon Fuller (Spice Girls etc), but obviously I can't just pass on details for the same reasons as mentioned above. If you would like to send me a recording if you have one I will have a listen (I'm a musician, so I like to think I'll know if its any good!!), and if it is then I will most certainly pass it on.
My cousin is also a producer on The South Bank Show. I will have a word and see if I can get any help out of him. PM me if you want to discuss things further. And if she makes it big, I want my business plugging live on national TV!

Hi,
You should really let industry peeps come to you the agent or her..............
Make sure to have a next gig coming up for her to showcase her talent and invite the right type of people even down to editors of music magasine, give them all a free pass and you will never know your luck.
Give out demo's on street with contact details also............it's bound to go in the right hands soon...............
