Try an excel based software for trading commoditiesand shares and make it possible to download buying prices and selling prices and to show profit / loss at the same time after the trader inputs the buying price and how many shares etc. Example, the trader enters the name of the share / commodity in row 1. The amount of shares / commodities bought in column 1. The purchase price in column 2. The selling price in column 3. The profit / loss in cloumn 5. Allow a gap for ease of viewing. Make this automatic with info downloadable and you could have a high price product.

To Kevin Ashby, The functionality described is already easily done if you have a say a Bloomberg price feed. You can add fairly simple formulae to a spreadsheet to pick up the prices as they change. I would imagine that most other data providers would have a simliar interface for Excel. I know Tiblink do and I can't see Reuters not having it.
