I visited here a few weeks ago and it was helpful in sending me in the right direction which was great and very helpful.

I have since found out that forming a limited company via an agent can be very resourceful and less time consuming.

Upon researching, I found 24-7 Formations offered a great provision at at extremely reasonable price so I thought it was worth mentioning for those of you who want to pursue this avenue rather than go via an accountant (my friend set formed his company that way and it cost £250!)

In the end we signed up and formed our company via this agent and for £61 (inc VAT) they registered our business with Companies House, emailed our Memorandum of Articles and Articles of Association to us and within 3 days we received our Certificate of Incorporation from them.

They also sorted out a fast track application to join Barclay business banking (offers free banking in first year) and we will get £25 cash back credited to our bank account so in effect it works out to be no more than £36 all in. Now that is a good deal.

I was interested in us writing up our own Memorandum of Articles and Articles of Association but this is far easier, cheaper and less time consuming hence my reason for sharing this information to others.
