Retail travel experience is not essential as you can recruit staff that do have the appropriate experience and we will gladly assist you in your recruitment selection process. Training And Support
When you join the Harvey World Travel Group you’ll benefit not only from our knowledge and experience, but from our dedicated support. Our Head Office provides you with a wide variety of support functions including marketing, training and HR. Our finance team process all your supplier payments providing you more time to concentrate on the sales and marketing of your franchised branch.
Our exciting and exclusive training programme includes welcome days that take each person through the structure and functions of the company and lets them sample the HWT culture. As a HWT franchisee you will be provided with the UK’s current leading retail agency system that operates a proven platform.
We will provide an advertising and marketing program that will continually reinforce our distinctive brand image and promotes exclusive packages through television, press and consumer media promotions throughout the year.
Additionally, you’ll receive the Advertising and the Local Sales and Marketing Kits. These provide the tools and advice to produce professional and effective local advertising. With a wealth of creative ideas it ensures a consistency of style so that when you run the ads in your local media they achieve maximum impact.
Financial Details
The joining fee is £12,000 plus VAT.
Further finance is required to use for working capital and where appropriate to cover the shop fit.
The joining fee includes: licence to trade as HWT, external shop signage, internal corporate branding, national brand presence, ABTA membership, talking windows, induction training, in house IT training, recruitment assistance, website creation, business planning, project management.
Your monthly franchise fee is 1.25% of your sales. Out of this 25% is put back towards marketing for you.
The franchise fee includes: competitive supplier commissions, supplier payments, foreign exchange options, brand marketing, local shop and advertising kits, lifestyle products, business risks insurance, HR manager, Training Manager, operational support, affinity business leads, low credit card fees, business development assistance, incentive schemes, group buying discounts.
The monthly IT fee is £195 for the 1st PC and £50 per additional PC thereafter.
This fee includes front and back office systems, broadband, own shop bookable website, email address, technology and system support and development.
