I am in the process of setting up a marketing agency that will offer print and web design, PR and marketing consultancy to all types of businesses.



I also want to offer 'starter marketing packages' to start-ups and new businesses at a discounted rate in the spirit of entrepreneurialism. I've been putting together a few ideas for materials and corresponding prices but then thought it best to conduct some research amongst the target audience i.e. you the entrepreneurs!



So what I would like to know from all of you starting new businesses (or those of you who have recently started new businesses) is what were the essential marketing materials in the first few months?



I'm assuming a logo and corresponding stationery would be somewhere near the top of the list but what else is or was essential at the time? Brochures, leaflets, websites, event material??



If you could let me know I can start putting packages together that really suit the small business community at very competitive prices.



Maybe you could put together a top 5 list of items you require / required - that would be very helpful..and of course once I'm up and running I would be delighted to offer you my services at further discounted rates.
