... but I used to be one, and been for the last 4 years.
I'm currently 23 years of age, so kind of young and have wanted to start my business for the last 5 years. It's never happened until now and recently i've started preparing myself.
Using my web design skills, i've built myself an online store (which is nearly done), attended trade shows in search for innovative products and have taken as much advice and research over that time watching the market that I will go into.
Starting as a limited company from the start, and will probably start selling via an eBay shop to get some exposure although my online store will also be live.
The whole thing hopes to take of in about a months time, so stay tuned and i'll post links to the site.
Thanks for reading

I'd be interested to know how you did things like shopping basket on your web site. Did you use of-the-shelf things like Paypal, Worldpay's code or did you write your own method? Are there any decent resources you could point me to for doing this? I'm considering using the free PayPal shopping basket. It generally seems to be the way to go. Any advice, greatly appreciated.

Hi Teapot,
Yes i'd recommend the software called CubeCart for the shopping basket. It costs about £80 but it's well worth it.
Also I would take a look at Paypal Payments PRO which is new in the UK and is a seemless payment solution which only costs £20 a month to have but it's very good.
