Hi everyone
I have an existing bricks'n'mortar ladies fashions retail business and I now need to establish and online presence. I appreciate that I'm a late starter(!).
I have a company lined up to set up the website and to administer it for me. The dilema I have is what should I call the website business?
I want to seperate it from my existing business and give it a different identity/brand.
The clothes that I will be selling online will be similar (but different of course!) to Wallis, Principles, Evans and M&S aimed at 30-60 year old ladies.
Hopefully I can find some guidance from this post. If you have a minute please reply to this post.
Many thanks
Alan Hargreaves.

What about something with a name in it (that would appeal to your target age range)?
Eleanor's Boutique
Personally I would shop at something like the above as apposed with a name like 'fashiononline' because I would feel it would have a personal touch.
You could create the online persona of Eleanor and have her favourite weekly recommendations or best buys.....

also don't forget to check the availability of all names as domain names.
eleanorsboutique.com is available
use http://www.123-reg.co.uk to check
I found choosing a name the hardest bit

Off the top of my head, The Hanging Rail or Hanging Rail - .com and .co.uk domains are apparently available for both.
Good luck
Stephen
