The South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) has announced its plans to erect a new 2-acre business “hatchery facility” in Oxfordshire.
SEEDA acquired the site in Faringdon, Oxfordshire, to build a Managed Business Centre for the Faringdon Enterprise Gateway, which helps new and growing businesses at its nearby facility in the form of “hot desking” for up to 10 people.
The business centre will provide office space and workshops for its fledgling businesses, and with the facility’s 1,425 sq. metres of space, the Enterprise Gateway will be able to significantly increase the number of businesses it can accommodate.
“There is a real need for suitable modern accommodation for small businesses within the Faringdon area,” said SEEDA’s senior development manager, Geoff Hawkins.
“The new building will significantly increase business start-up, survival and growth rates by providing premises with flexible lease terms and on-site business support.”
