Startups is inviting you to attend a post-Budget discussion in association with new business club One Alfred Place.
Some of the UK’s leading entrepreneurs including Sarah McVitte, founder of Texperts, James Hibbert, founder of Dress2kill and Karen Darby, founder of SimplySwitch will be sharing their views on how the Budget will hit enterprise in the discussion, chaired by Ian Wallis, editor of our sister publication Growing Business.
We’re offering a limited number of places to Startups and Growing Business readers to attend the discussion the morning after the Budget (Thursday 13 March) to put forward their own views and take part in the debate.
Issues likely to be discussed include the abolition of capital gains tax, taper relief, increases in corporation tax rates and fuel duty, and the introduction of legislation to prevent income shifting.
The discussion will start at 8.15am at One Alfred Place in Bloomsbury, which will be followed by coffee, pastries and networking with entrepreneurs and business journalists.
Places are available on a first come, first served basis so don’t miss your chance to air your views. You can request a place by emailing onealfredplace@threepipe.co.uk
