Hello,
I am currently contracting as PAYE for an agency but am now going Ltd company because there are several other projects I hope to be working on and I see a real potential for my own business opportunity working for SME's.
I'd like some advice on Professional Indemnity Insurance - can someone please point me in the direction of companies to approach for quotes.
From others experience what is a realistic ball park figure for such insurance, I have spoken to some people already but would like some further figures to use as a benchmark.
Many thanks in advance.

SME insurance is still very much based on the broker model.
What field are you in? Generally you either approach your local brokers or a broker who specialises in your field of business.
As with all insurance there is no "realistic" figure as it depends on what level of cover you are getting, what industry you are in etc

My PLI is through Hiscox.
Would definitely recommend them.

Thank you all for your replies.
My business is in the field of procurement services and packages so could potentially be selecting supply routes, suppliers and placing contracts with suppliers for the supply of goods and services.
