market stall

thinking of selling products on a market stall - but don't know anything about how to go about it re: regulations, permissions etc. I have a supplier..... can anyone advise re: - setting up a market stall and how to go about it - doing craft/trade fairs - selling products at car boot/market Thanks

HI Tracyh,i have some info on setting up a market stall and craft and trade fairs.If you like i could email the info to you if you like,as i can,t remember it off the top of my head.But one resource would be the Crafts Council resource center, which is above their gallery in islington london.Also depending on what your selling you can apply for a grant from them also as well as sell to them.But they have an extensive library and very helpful staff(i,m a bit of a regular there myself having discoverd them about foru years ago.email ne at dnllscott@yahoo.co.uk hope to hera from you.dani
