Startups.co.uk is proud to announce the launch of its first ever awards programme.
The Startups Awards 2004 are dedicated to rewarding and celebrating the best business startups in the UK. They represent a unique opportunity for you to gain recognition for the outstanding achievements of your business or team
With 13 awards covering a range of different categories, from ‘Retailer of the Year’ to ‘Micro Business of the Year’ through to the ‘Silver Fox Award’ there really is a category to suit you.
Entries into each award will be judged by a panel of industry experts and a shortlist of four companies will be drawn up and notified.
At the awards luncheon at a top London hotel in October a winner for each category will be announced and presented with their award.
The grand finale will see one business crowned the Startups Business of the Year and handed a cheque for £5000!

www.startupsawards.co.uk – where you will be able to enter online from 22nd April until the closing date in July 2004.
There’s no limit to the number of times you can enter. The categories are as follows:
- Wholesaler of the Year
- Retailer of the Year
- Service Business of the Year
- Manufacturing Business of the Year
- Online Business of the Year
- Best Use of Technology Award
- Women in Business Award
- Franchisee of the Year
- Micro Business of the Year
- Community Impact Award
- Team of the Year
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year (under 30s)
- Silver Fox Award (over 50s)
In order to enter, you must meet the following criteria:
- Have been trading for no more than three years at time of entry
- Employ no more than 60 full time members of staff
- Business should be privately owned
