I have recently started a hosting company. I understand that there are thousands of these, many of which are simply resellers but I have actually bought in to a brand new data centre in texas so I am real! I have a few customers as I have spent money on banner advertising but most of it turned out to be pay to click rubbish on these daft sites that pay you to read spam. I advertised on weebls-stuff.com which brought in alot of hits but that's over. I cant make a steady income from it yet so I work at John Lewis thurs, fri, and sat leaving Mon Tue Wed to promoting goowe, what is the best way to go about this? Should I physically get out there to web designers etc?
Help appreciated
Tom

I know plenty of hosts who survive off of forums, the great thing about web-related businesses is that your customer base tends to spend more time online than anyone else.
Look at the all the web mags for sale and visit their forums (most have them and I frequent quite a few), then stick links in your signature and participate, possibly offer discounts to forum members, and if they sign up and are happy, the users will do plenty of promoting for you.
Also, your site didn't appear to be working when I tried it (Sun about 12pm), helps to have it up and working.
