This year’s Enterprise Week will feature a whole range of seminars, workshops and events with high profile entrepreneurs at the British Library in London.
The British Library Business & IP Centre is a key supporter of Enterprise Week, a national annual event, organised by the Make Your Mark initiative to promote enterprise culture among 14-30-year-olds.
The week’s events at the Library include ‘Teenpreneurs: The youthful guide to starting a business’, on Wednesday 14 November.
The evening will feature award-winning 18-year-old inventor Emily Cummings, and Fraser Doherty, who started his healthy jam business at the age of 14.
Thursday 15 November is the night of social enterprise. Ethical entrepreneurs such as Sophi Tranchell, of Fairtrade chocolate company Divine, will be speaking and answering questions from the audience.
Also at the social enterprise evening will be Seb Bishop, star of Millionaires’ Mission, and The Apprentice’s Tim Campbell, who recently launched The Bright Ideas Trust, an initiative aimed at inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.
