A series of seminars designed to help small businesses understand how they can benefit from progressive communications practices and technology has been announced by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC).
The Profit from Progressive Communications seminars have been organised in conjunction with BT, and will explain how communications technologies can help companies adopt progressive business practices.
The seminars will also look at new tools and services in communications technology, specifically the advanced use and integration of mobile, broadband and landline services including internet based voice communications (VoIP).
Businesses will be encouraged to match their requirements with the specific tools and services they need to operate, and receive practical advice on concerns like minimising cost, and ensuring security and service reliability.
BCC managing director John Dunsmure, said: “Anyone in business today knows you need all the help you can get to remain competitive. These practical seminars will help our members profit from BT's expertise in advanced communication practice and the technologies that make them possible.”
The 12 seminars will through the Chambers in the Accredited Chamber Network, beginning in June 2006 and ending in February 2007.
