How much would it cost to design a site like myspace?
or a dating website with loads of people having their own picture and profile up.
Have you got a rough idea?
Thanks

How long is a piece of string? :-/
If you want a decent quote, then please provide a decent description of EXACTLY what you are after? I have never used MySpace or any dating website so I have absolutly no idea of the minute details of how these sites work.

Sites like these are great for attracting word of mouth and repeat visitors simply because of the entire community feel.
With forums, blogs and photo uploads it certainly entices visitors to check back reguarly - with in turn is great for earning revenue from PPC (e.g. Adwords)
There are many ways in which this could be done, with a variety of budgets and levels but if you can contact me through our website I'll be able to give you a rough estimation of costs.
Thanks,
Dean

On the dating website side, you may want to check out www.diy-dating.com. This is a white-label solution enabling you to set up your own dating site for free! Membership fees are then shared 50:50 between you and diy-dating.
The white-labelling option is getting more and more popular in lots of different areas, you might even find a whitelabel provider for a myspace type of site either now or in the future.
Generally a whitelabel provider will provide a website that performs a particular task, but will allow you to add your own branding to the site to give the appearance that it is your site.
It can certainly be a low cost, low risk option that allows you to test the water in certain markets.
