Did anyone watch the above this evening (Wed)?
I did, and even though I have nothing to do with catering whatsoever, I found it very inspirational.
You can say what you like about Gordon Ramsey (swearing etc) but I respect him, because he is so passionate about what he does. You can sense that only one thing matters to him, and all of us should have that sort of quality within us.
He basically turned a business around, from the ground up, just by changing the contents of the menu.
Anyone else got any views?
Richard

I am hoping for a repeat too - even though I watched it I could have used it as a training video!

Not a lot of people are aware that Gordon Ramsay was an up and coming professional footballer with Glasgow Rangers before he became a chef. He had a bad injury and was forced to retire from football. Instead of crying into a glass, like many do when their dream is shattered, he changed professions and became one of the most well known chefs in the world, with 2 michelin stars to boot. This guy obviousley has a lot of drive and ambition. Shame the head chef of the restaurant featured in the programme didn't.

i really wanted to watch this too because i know many chefs who've teh temperment of gordon ramsay in the kitchen then come out of that environment (which is rare due to the stifiling hours they work) and are completely differennt!!
i should think that this will be repeated on e4 sometime
