Hi I'm just about to launch my new business (hopfully mid Sept.), but it doesn't look like it's going to produce much money for me to draw out in the short term. This is fine as it is part of the business plan, but I am looking at other ways of generating income whilst my business grows. I have decided to try my hand at doing some freelance writing and communications work. Was wondering if anyone can give me any advice on how to get started in a low cost way. I have quite a bit of relevant experience - press officer, internal comms mgr, and general writing, but have no idea about how competitive this field is for freelancers. I'm not after competing with the big boys, just doing something to generate some income. I'd be really grateful for any thoughts, advice, help, etc. Thanks! Bunny
