My name is Claude and I am a 30 year old student which is comming to London 3 weeks ago. I have not study in business, but I enjoy to look for new business ideas. I have one partiular business idea which I am amazed has not been done yet in London or UK. I am not interested in using this idea as I do not have the skills, time or money for such an idea, but I would love to see someone else use it and make many peoples life much easier here in london. Let me explain.

I arrived here 3 weeks ago and have been looking for an apartment to rent in London. I have spent many hours online and on the telephone trying to find a suitable one. What I have to do is look for all the estate agencies in the area I am interested and send them email or call each one to see if they have what I am looking for. (my requirements). Most of them also want to register me on their database, so this means I have to waste alot of time doing so and then also receiving sales calls from them after I have found the apartment. Everyday thousands of people must be doing the same thing. London has many many agencies for property in every area, and so it takes alot of time to contact them all. There are also some websites such as gumtree.com or loot.com where I can look for property from private landlord, but ultimatly I need to use a combination of both to ensure that I contact as many agencies as possible to find what I need. Of course there are websites which advertise properties from many agencies, but then I still have to look everyday and send them emails and telephone them.

Now, Imagine if I could go to one simple webpage (must be quick and simple)and enter in my requirements and contact details ONCE (without registering) using a few checkboxes and droplists and then my request would be automatically emailed to a list of estate agents in london. Then they can CALL ME if they have anything which matches my requirements. It is win-win for all parties. It would obviously work and I cannot believe this isnt already being done since you could also easily make money off it by charging agencies a subscription to receive the emails in their area of interest. Or better, they could receive them for free, but need to pay subscription to receive emails with contact details included. I am always having to myself email all the agencies I can find and its too hard and unncessary work. If you go to http://www.findaproperty.com/agencies.html you will find a huge list of agencies in London with all their contact details and email address. There is also no reason why this could not be used for property to buy or even for landlords as well. The marketing would be easy as well. I am not very good with websites, but how hard could this be to programme, I must imagine very simple, maybe a few days and when finished it should be on auto-pilot! This is really good, many friends have said they would love such a service and also cant believe there isnt such a service!
