Does anyone know of any networking social events which go on in the Midlands (pref. Rugby / Warwick area) - whether it be meet-ups in a pub once a month for a chat or something more formal?? I know of similar things going on in a couple of other parts of the country but not really come across much is this area.
If not, is anyone keen - I don't mind setting something up if people suggest what they would like to get out of such a thing?

James,, i am a member of this forum but i dont do a lot with it but there is info on networking in the midlands and apparantly there are a lot of meetings to attend..The reason i dont bother is because i really dont have the time..But have a look anyway it may help you..

James, I would imagine that there is a local Chamber of Commerce that will hold social events and there are BNIs everywhere - I think there's a national website BNI.co.uk?

I have to say I'm an advocate of BNI - http://www.bni-europe.com/ - the website is horrible and they are not the best at replying to emails, but if you can find a chapter near you, go along to a couple of meetings and see for yourself. Suits some businesses more than others but I have to say my experience of it has been very positive.

Hi folks,
We've decided to hold the inaugural meeeting of the Warwickshire Entrepreneurs in 'The Jug & Jester' in Leamington Spa on Monday the 5th of April. I'll be there from about 7pm and everyone's welcome. It'll just be an informal session first time around to meet up and chat about what people are upto. If we get a decend turn out we continue to meet on the first monday of the month and might introduce some structure to things.
