Hi,
I am using adsense on my content site which is very new (2 days). While I don't expect to make anything soon, I was just wondering if anybody is making any good money (1000 +) a month with this method and if so how many hits and clicks did they need to get it. By hits I mean unique visitors and by click I mean ad clickthroughs. I would also appreciate any suggestions on adsense strategy. Thanks

You can make money but it takes hard work. Sometimes years to get a site generating enough traffic.
The key is to create CONTENT and make sure visitors will come back to your site. Sites with stale static data wont generate many hits
Blogs that are updated on a regular basis are one way to get high traffic. Also use other sources such as using MySpace as a tool to generate traffic as well as becoming involved in forums and newsgroups and exchanging links with as many sites as possible
