Hi,
A couple of years ago I used to run evolution internet as my main job, did quite well, won a couple of tenders etc, then due to personal cirumstance got a "proper" job, working in Management information. Im wanting to get back into the game (so to speak).
I've starting developing my own site again www.evolutioninternet.co.uk , and not too long ago completed an E-Commerce site (custom front/backend) www.cranberrieshampers.co.uk .
I used to program using access and Cold Fusion, Im now switching over to a PhP/mySQL setup, and am looking to grow my portfolio, as a result I am offering to work @ 50% of what I would normally charge, and will throw in any item of work which I have not covered yet for free, or a greatly reduced rate. Hosting included.
If you know of anyone that would want to take advantage of this offer, please do let me know.
Many thanks,
Mark Stephenson

Are you any good with the php in Cubecart? I am running an old version 2 that has been heavily modified and have some issues I would like sorting.
Site is www.helshop.co.uk
Main concern is getting rid of all the boxes in the main screen for navigation as they are just duplicates of the menu on the left.
Thanks
Helen

RE: Back in the game
Ive not used Cubecart.
When I was originally doing this, I did everything from scratch in Cold Fusion, I intend to do the same in Php, so whoever gets the first of something, will get it pretty much tailored to themselves.
I may be able to have a look for you, but as its not something I could portfolio, i couldnt offer a decent timescale.
Are you wanting to get rid of the hearts?

Yep, I could email you the intructions for the mod and the code for the home page but when I tried it the code they refer to in the mod isnt there. I believe the section with the hearts in and the links to the categories is a table but wouldnt swear to it. Have managed to do most of the mods myself from the instructions provided but this one is just above me - think all that is needed is knowledge of php of which I have zero!! As for timescale I am in no rush as it functions okay as a store - just doesnt quite have the look I want for the home page.
Have spent hours bashing my head against the laptop screen trying to sort it but at the end of the day it doesnt stop it working.
