Hi,
I'm a freelance website designer and piano teacher (I know - wierd mix) but this post is most applicable to my website activity. The problem is that all the web work I've received so far has been via word of mouth. I'm dreadful at selling myself on the phone and I find cold calling really hard.
Does anyone have any advice on either getting agents or hiring a sales person (either for a fixed fee or a percentage of the project value) or alternatively websites on how to sell/market myself better?
Clients are really happy with the work that I do but I'm not getting enough of it in to make a reasonable living.
Thanks for any advice,
Richard Pain

Mmm - I've got the business and the skills myself - I'm just rubbish at marketing. I just need a marketing company for freelancers.

OK
I got something that might interest you.
Check this guy out, he is on for $500,000 this year (his first year)

You have ALL the skills to do exactly what he has done ....
Make the most of you rare talents like Piano....as no offence to any designers out there, but those talents are no longer rare.
Best Of Luck
