I don't know much about it all but i assume that you would need to design your underwear and then you would need to find someone to make them (or if you can make them yourself?).
Firstly you need to do loads of research so you can determine if your brand will sell, what will make it unique etc
good luck

i have an idea but do not know how i get from the idea to having it made. i have very basic designs too.
what did you do or who did you use?
Do you make underwear or clothes?

Sometimes, it's actually very simple to produce clothing if you have the money .
There are 3 main areas for production, Turkey, India and China. China is the cheapest , but culturally far removed from the UK when it comess to doing business. turkey and India are best for cotton garments. If you have basic designs they need to be converted into something electronic - ideally within Adobe Illustrator or otherwise. There are companies to whom you can then send the images and request a sample. You need to include sizings and dimensions in centimetres, cloth type and weight (e.g. 100% cotton 210GSM - GSM = Grammes Per Square Metre) cloth colour, production run requirements, sizing requirements (how many of each size) and delivery date.
If you can supply a counter-sample for the factories to copy so much the better. The sourcing companies then get 3 quotes from factory owner and reply with the best price. All in you're looking at 2 weeks for this, if you ship via UPS or FEd-EX
Ask for everything to be quoted CIF which is an Incoterm used to define shipping, CIF will be price including shipping to a collection point - usually Southampton the other common type is FOB or Free On Board. This means the manufacturer pays to get the goods as far as the shipping vessel and then you pay the shipping charges from say Shanghai -Southampton. For this you'll need a freight forwarder
If you get all this wrapped up then you need an L/C or letter of credit which means the money goies into an escrow account so that neither party can swindle the other, you pay the money but the factory doesn't get a penny until your rep agent has confirmed production passes the quality test required for Europe. You'll need to make sure that everything produced contains clear labelling as to material, washing instructions, sizes and any warning (e.g. do not expose to naked flame etc)
Thats it really
