Hi
Poor you, what a nightmare. I would call your bank or whoever facilitates your CC payments and ask them their advice and check that you will be covered and receive the money if you send the goods and the CC turns out to be stolen.
Thank you from a consumer's point of view for being so vigilant, it makes me feel more secure knowing people make these kinds of checks when receiving payments online.
What’s your website??

Our site is www.qcumclothing.com
I've spoken to our bank and they have agreed it seems dodgy so we have requested to see a document containing proof of address.

Dave,
Well done for spotting it. In future if this happens again and you don’t manage to spot the problem and send out the goods, don’t worry as you are guaranteed to get paid. Your card provider/authoriser has done the checks and authorised the payment. It’s then the banks responsibility to recover the money and investigate the issue.
Hope this help and you get everything sorted.
Brett

This is a real tricky area.
If you receive a payment you are unsure of, try calling the person. You can tell them there's a temporary problem with the system and you want to confirm their address etc...
This isn't foolproof, but it does seem to help quite a lot. If you can't speak to anyone, don't send until you can.
Ecommerce sites often take the hit for this kind of thing, and it can be painful, so you are right to be cautious!

I've managed to speak to the buyer but it seemed to be in broken English. Bascially he said he'd email some evidence but we have had nothing yet. So I suppose its just a case of waiting.
