We just post this topic to help people to identify a reliable company,and protect ourself.
We are a Trading Company in China.Before we discuss this problem,we here state the troubled affair which happend on our company.
We received the inquiry from D.M.K Research and Development Company in UK,they want to buy our portable dvd players.They said they will pay from their IOBS,as trust them and hope to build a long business relationship with them,we shipped the samples which valued USD1523.60,though we had not received their remittance then.because they said they need our help they won't lost fact to their customers if they can not get the samples.
We believed they picked up our samples before Jun 23th/25th,2003.
Then,they said all of our samples had failed in their test,the samples will be send back.That's so strange,for at least two specs has been selling in US market,why not failed in UK? we required a full testing report from them,but they can not offer.We were worried if there were some mistakes to this company,we try to called them,but a recorder answered.
At least 10 days later,we got an email from their COE PETER LORRENSON,he said they had not got our emails...
After that, we had not heard anything from them, despite the fact that we had sent them numerous e-mails requesting.
Until we changed another email address to send message to them,we got a reply without the explanation of the remittance.It seems they won't pay for the samples or send it back.We could not believe that it has been done by a UK company.
Life it too short to waste valuable time on inconsiderate company like D.M.K. They do not have integrity,we don't want to deal with these people,but post messages on internet from time to time.
We are here publicize this company and ours below to certify this is verity.

This is not a company nor an organisation, but a type of service our bankers offer.
It is just like a T.T, with the security of a Letter of Credit.
This workings of this system are enclosed herein as an attached document.
Firstly we send you a confirmed written order by email ( which we have done already and we send a copy to our bankers IOBS department )
Secondly: The IOBS department at our bankers then send you a confirmed
notice that they have received our written purchased order. With security pin number, which you have attached to all documents you send to their department in claiming your payment, just like a letter of credit.Then you have to send a proformasales invoice which includes all the charges including the freight costs. Once our bankers have received this thet debit our bank account for the cost of the freight, as well as the already monies they have taken for the cost of the goods, as advised when we sent them the copy of the purchased document.
Then once you have got all the goods packed and ready to ship, you draft the original shipping documents. 1 x sales invoice and 1 x delivery note and you have got from the freight company the ORIGINAL AIRWAY BILL DOCUMENT, you send all three (3) documents by email attached to the IOBS department of our bankers.
And then within 48 hours to get paid, it is as simple as that.
We cannot get hold of the goods until you get paid, end of story.

It would be better to provide details of the other customer's circumstances and jointly consider taking action against the company. If there is something odd about the trading arrangements then a complaint can be made to the DTI in addition to you taking a case through the county courts here in the UK.

Especially Mr.Lee,I really don't know how to say thanks to Mr.Lee from the bottom of my heart.
We finally got the full payment from Simon last thursday, It's a great lesson to our further working.
I hope everyone will be very careful deal with this guy SIMON H.DE MEZA and the company,James Jardine Rod Company if you meet.
