Hi Auction Express,
After reviewing your site, I think one of the main problems your going to encounter is standing out from the pack. The other "Auction Express" sites: auctionexpress.com / .net , auction-express.com, will cause distraction and confusion with your Auction Express brand, your advertising won't be as effective.
Create a Co-Brand: Create an Auction Express co-brand to address the distraction/confusion issue. This doesn't have to be a big issue, just call it "ABC Auction Website, an Auction Express company". Just make sure the co-brand is original and won't be confused with other companies within your industry.
New domain name: Once you have created a co-brand, get the domain name to go along with your new co-brand name. Get Google to index the new name, make auctionexpress.info your mirror URL, not the main URL.
Meta tags: Your current Meta tags are not existent. Invest in some Meta tag creation or try and enhance it yourself. Compare your tags to the major auction players like eBay. This will help some.
This should be a good starting point and set you on the right track to maximizing your advertising. At which point I could also give you some more suggestions.
Good luck in all your endeavors,
Michael

Thanks
Well www.bidhut.co.uk is the new domain name as soon as it's sorted, it's just directed at the moment, but for instance, what is holding you back from signing up, there must be something?

Hi,
I've looked at the site and it seems nice and functional. I'm not a expert on website design but I do know about tracking and website monitoring. Its a case of getting the right customers to your site.
Analytics:
Do you have any stats to let you know what the level of activity is on your site, e.g hits per day/page. Google have a service which will let you do this but you'll need to register with them and add some code to your site.
SEO:
Where do you come in the search engines and for what search criteria?
Have you optimised your site, if so for what keywords. I guess it will be hard for you to optimise for such a broad range of things that you will have under auction, what is your marketing plan?

Hello, Thanks for your reply. That's what we're missing stats, what is the google stat counter? as that would help greatly.
Thanks, would you be kind enough to sign up to our forum as i think you could be a great help.
What do you generally think to the website then?

Hi,
I could register your site but it requires some personal details so I generally recommend that the webmaster does it. Also for google to track your site it necessary to put a snippet of code into each of your pages. Again I could do that but it would require me having access to your pages.
You can find all the details at:
http://www.google.com/analytics/
Once you have done this you will be able to track what people do once they get to your site.
Another area that you will be interested in will be seo and making your site appear as high on google as possible. There are vairous ways you can do this, it really depends on your budget.
Let me know if you want more information
