I'm currently planning to construct a website that can advertise local company's.
I have a good idea as too how i want the website to appear to users.
It must be easy to insert new company's advertisements as i predict there will be a alot of new company's coming on-board through-out the first year of trading.
I have found a website, reason8.com, who in a sense will act as an outsourced IT deparment.
I.E, I have access to their software, which is easy to use and means i can update easily.
they also offer free support to (quote) 'tweak' functions on the website.
All this will cost me a one off fee of 70£ and a monthly cost of 25£
This is the most suitable service i have found so far taking into account, usability and price.
Is there a web designer out there that can offer to design this website for me for around the same prices which I could update when i have new advertisements to put on.
I'm a novice when it comes to Html but can pick up basics

Hi Mark
We offer a similar service to reason8, for around the same prices, but without the initial setup fee (in fact we are currently offering free no obligation setup of prototype sites). One of our recent clients is setting up a similar local site to your site at www.purbeckpulse.co.uk
The good thing with good sitebuilder services is that they are supported, maintained and improved by the supplier, they are designed so that the content can easily be updated by the client, they are designed for web page growth (well our sitebuilder is), and web hosting is included (high quality web hosting in our case).
If you go the one-off static web design route then you are left supporting the code, it is very easy to mess the site up when editing the underlying HTML, it can be difficult adding pages, and you still have to pay for web hosting anyway (which should be high quality, i.e. not the cheapest host plan, if you want a reliable site and fast page loads).
Have a look at our website and our client sites and if our service is of interest to you then please get in touch.

Hiya,
Reason8 have an offer on at the moment with zero setup charge (September) .
I am abig fan of http://www.reason8.com. It allowed me to create my website from scratch in a few days. I have never done anything like this before and the thought of creating a website was daunting at first.
I was initially put off by the limited selection of templates so I called them and was told that they would design a template for me. They did this in two days. It cost me just £20 and to be honest haven't looked back.
I update my website every few days and it has been live now for about 6 months. I pay £15 for the silver package and I have lost count of how many leads I have had. I am on the first page of Google now (although I had to follow the advice in their little booklets) - but the effort was worth it.
Of course I could have paid a lot more for a web designer or a lot less for a less professional service, but I think the price and service is about right.
Hope this helps a few people out there.
Martin

I have used reason8 to build a website twice now and I think the reason8 systems are excellent. You get the best of both worlds as they are offering a custom design from a professional designer for just £40 !
I have tried the competition which is cheaper and far less professional than reason8. The quote I had from a designer was £3000 and to be honest I ended up with a better looking website from reason8 that I can update myself.
I am on page 1 of the search engines and the £25 a month I pay for my reason8 website pays for itself 100 times over every month.
The email support is great and if a technology-dummy like me can build a website anyone Can !

reason8 sounds to cheap!
you get what you pay for especially when it comes to web designers.
We specialise in a range of solutions based around the customer being able to easily update their site. Our price for something like this would start around £1000. You can view our website to get a better idea of who we are or feel free to email me if you have any further questions.
