In light of this I have set up a free Search Engine Optimisation Blog at:

If you would like a topic covered, struggling with a certain aspect of optimisation or have any general questions then contact me through the website and I may feature them (and a link to your business) on the Blog
Hope you find of use,

There are actually some very good tools at submitexpress. And yes it is important to get your keywords correct. Dean in his blog uses Overture's keyword finder. This system is based on 'Searched Terms' - The only draw back with this method is that it is universal and will highlight searches made abroad for similar types of businesses. It can also lead to over optimisation. Always guage your pages for your searchers Not for search engines. Make your pages unique with one main topic per page. Keep adding fresh content and I also 'slightly dissagree' with the theory of linking into similar sites. Given half a chance they will agree and then undercut you.

ASingleStep, your own particular site has just 1 link.
Search Engines like to see a site with hundreds and thousands of what are called InBound Links (IBLs) these are from Directories and from other sites that point in your direction. You need to join SEO forums there are two in my links. Here you can learn how to get those links and how to add content with relevant keyword activity that will point the SE's in your direction
