Morning all,
Little advise needed.
I sent my completed forms off to the Inland Revenue 2 weeks ago today (for a sole trader) and i have herd nothing from them.
I asked to be sent a VAT form, but not even that has arrived.
Is this normal? What is the "normal" time frame.. Even Natwest have setup my business bank account quicker..

Hi Ads,
When I registered with the now HMRC i never heard anything back from them, the only time I knew that I had been registered was when they sent me the end of year tax return forms, I have spoken to other startups who have all had the same issue with HMRC, Its quite normal. If you are registering for VAT. Try VAT registering Online at www.hmrc.gov.uk.
