Limited company to sole trader

Hi
I am looking at buying a shop which currently is run as a limited company. I would like to operate as a sole trader. How easy is it to do this and what are the costs involved. only one casual saturday person employed.

Are you buying the company or the business? Starting off as a sole trader is really straigtforward - go to the HMRC website (www.hmrc.gov.uk). The start-up cost is £0.
