Entrepreneurs in London are to get the chance to take advice from one of the UK’s most famous business protégés.
Tim Campbell, winner of the first Apprentice TV show, is to host a series of one-to-one advice sessions for businesses held at the British Library.
Campbell, who has now enjoyed or perhaps endured nearly two-years of training from combative Amstrad tycoon Sir Alan Sugar, says he is keen to help the Capital’s entrepreneurs.
It is also not the first outing at the British Library for the former London underground employee, who attended ‘The Rise and Rise of British Black Entrepreneurs’ event in May.
Campbell has said he is particularly keen to work with young entrepreneurs and wants half of the ‘Ask an Expert’ sessions, set to run over a six-month period, to be for younger people.
Lynne Brindley, British Library chief executive, said: “I am delighted that Tim has agreed to take part in the Business & IP Centre ‘Ask an Expert’ series to share his experience and expertise with people who will form the next generation of entrepreneurs in the UK.
“Tim’s commitment, enthusiasm and charisma were a winning combination in The Apprentice and I’m sure this will be just as much in evidence to the people who attend the ‘Ask an Expert’ sessions.”
