Hello everyone,
I currently work full time as an it technician but am starting up a small business selling computer cables etc.
As well as the online store www.cable-store.co.uk (currently in development) I will be attending computer fairs on a regular basis.
I have applied for a business bank account but was turned down probably because of no trading history and low turnover so i was wondering if there are companies that provide a way of taking credit card payments on my behalf while at these fairs?
any help ideas would be great also some site feedback would be nice too.
Many Thanks

Take a look at
http://www.optimalpayments.co.uk/solutions.asp who offer a solution designed for Mail Order / Telephone Order transactions - that might be useable.
Why not take an internet connected laptop, Now that PayPal don't need customers to be members you could fill the payment page in for the customer.
If you do a google search for MOTO processing (Mail Order Telephone Order) you might get more ideas.

If we are starting up in business then we must be business-like.
A half-baked idea is less benefit than a half baked-bean.
