I started a new business in November, and I am currelty working from Home.
I am taking on a new member of staff shortly and I am stuck for space, so I have started to look for office space.
Wow! I am being told by many people that brand new offices which are standing empty in some areas, will let you have a small amount of office space 'free' is this true????
Please any help on this would be appreciated.

I have never heard of office space being free!
unless you have a friend who has loads of
extra space thats doing nothing,
You should be able to get a rent free period
prob one month , if the building is very low
on residents!
I got 1 month rent free, but the building was
virtually full, just got lucky!
Costs differ vastly accoss the UK, depends on where
you are, cost us approx £50 per week for a 250square
foot room ( rabbit hutch!)
Good luck with your search, but dont expect space for free
as they are business's themselves and have to make money.
Also check your contract VERY CAREFULLY and consult a solicitor, if there are any things you dont understand/like, and also ask what the business rates are, as you will have to pay these

Yes, I've only ever heard of the odd month free for various reasons. If you do hear of anyone definitely doing it please post again as I think lots of us would be interested!!
