Has anyone had any good experience in trying to find a business partner via a particular forum, web site, etc? I've run my own business for several years (in the field of electronic product design and manufacture) but work on my own and don't often come into contact with other professionals who could be potential business partners. My aim is to find someone with similar aspirations and who can compliment the business skills I lack with their skills and background (in the fields of technical design and / or marketing). I know the obvious place to look is with the local Business Link and Chamber of Commerce etc which I plan to do, but I'd be very grateful for any info on suitable resources that any of the users of this site have come accross.
