RE: Press Release...is this ok????

Looks fine but I would question its timeliness. For instance if you were aiming at monthly or weekly print magazine publications then this should have gone out up to a couple of months ago. A lot depends on who is the intended audience of the press release. For instance if it's a local paper, then perhaps a less official telephone call first may be more appropriate, and 'big up' the local angle.
When sending out press releases, I would recommend making life as easy as possible for the person you are sending the press release to. The easier you make it the more chance something will be done. In the past, when my company sent out press releases for our game releases, we would set up an area on our website so that the press could easily download high res images without having to contact us first, e.g.:
www.abstractworlds.com/strangemaze/index.php?id=press
If you have a contact number, include that too along with your press release, so the press can easily pick up the phone and get answers to any questions they have.
But, first and foremost, get your timing and intended audience right, and be aware that some times of the year, e.g. Christmas, are more competitive and more difficult to get press coverage in.
