I have been in travel for the last 12yrs in various roles and i feel that the time has now come for me to branch out on my own.
I have a few ideas which i am working on but stumble when it comes to the financial side and how best to present it etc. What to put and what not to put to get the interest from Investors.

The problem i face is that around 4yrs ago i had some financial problems which resulted in 3 defaults but since then my history has been clear and i have had loans etc which i have always paid off so since then i have a clean bill of health for my finances.
As these defaults still show on file and my credit score is low, is this going to have a big impact as to whether i can raise the finance of approx £10-15k start up. I have the knowledge for my business and have alot of experience plus i am very cost conscious when it comes to business, just a shame my personal finances slipped up those years ago.

Any help or advice would be great and also where would be best to seek such investment other than the banks.
