Hi Jaco, This may well be a way of the world, but I have undying patriotism for supporting our local businesses. I have, just this morning, offered a 3 site deal to a local designer (member of this forum, by the way) knowing full-well that I could have got it done cheaper 'outsourced.'
I have to ask myself, 'Is it pride or stupidity?' I settled on 'pride.'

Hi,
Cheap and yet very high quality???
sorry - I worked like a Producy Manager in one of the european (non UK) Call Centre,
we provide all sort of cc activity - inbound an outbound.
The problem which we had it was an agent's proffesional level - most of them there was a students to treat work like a way of earning speed money to party..
It was a problem and I don;t belive that cheap service could be on the high quality level - sorry...

I think I should rather have stated "Low Cost" instead of "Cheap", the benefit in South Africa is that it isn't students that are hired, but the contact centre employes career minded employees. This equates to high service levels.
Nigel, I understand your approach...lets go with pride or rather patriotism. For some businesses it would however make a lot of sense to rather get the work done and services of the same quility standard delivered at half the price.
