Hi,
I have developed a rather simple but effective excel spreadsheet which works as a book keeping package. As a qualified accountant I have issued this to many of our clients (
www.yorkshireaccountancy.co.uk) and everyone seems happy with it.
I am wondering whether to offer this to the open market for a cost of around £10 per copy, and would be grateful of feedback as to whether this would be a good idea or not.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Nicholas
I've also replied to this post on the redcog.net forum as I wasn't sure which one you'd read first!
Rather than selling the spreadsheet for £10, how about using it as a lead generation/advertising tool. Ask your website visitors to sign up for it, and encourage them to send it to anyone that may find it useful. Make sure you place your company details throughout the spreadsheet.
You get a list of new leads, free advertising and they get a useful spreadsheet - everyones happy!
