Channel 4’s new business guru Martin Webb is looking for start-up businesses for the next series of Risking It All.
Series 2 introduces Martin Webb; the accomplished business entrepreneur who has been involved in launching a diverse range of successful and thriving businesses.
Martin will be guiding our businesses through their difficult first year, giving his own brand of practical advice, encouragement, criticism and trade secrets.
Martin made his fortune by selling C-Side, the leisure company he co-founded on a shoe-string in 1993. Within 8 years C-side grew from one site to 28 leisure venues and was sold for a cool £15 million in 2001.
Martin’s businesses have ranged from restaurants to radio stations, and from a digital printing company, to his newest project a country sports centre in France.
The ground breaking first series of Risking It All aired on Channel 4 last year receiving fantastic reviews and viewing figures of over 3 million.
Each programme followed the stories of people leaving the rat race to risk everything to become their own boss.
