Hi guys
im on the verge of starting an online retail business but need help building a website.
I am looking for something very simple but effective and efficient to use
Flash in some parts but not necessary
I know the name I want and it is available but not sure how to go about buying it and what i get from it.
Must have
• Paypal facilities
• Mailing List form
• Potential to grow and expand
• Pages to show product
• Facility to download from
• Registration and membership
• Ability to send out emails from a specific email address
• Voting system
• Design so advertising banners can be put on in the future
Would also want someone to maintain it for a couple of months before i can take over.
Can anyone do this or can recommend someone who can do this?

How many people go to google to search for seo friendly website? What if I typed search engine optimization friendly website, will you still be no 1?

SEOLID still ranks number 1 in the keywords he stated "seo friendly website". I just searched on google and it came out no 1.
I do not think it if fair to portray SEOLID in a bad light just to make your point.
I disagree in principle with SEOLID on the promise of promising a website no 1 ranking because search keywords are not statit and some many people will use keywords that may not find the website.
I can setup 20 websites that will each rank no 1 in the search engines as long as I use keywords that are not even popular and force people (if possible) to use the keywords I want them to use to conduct their searches.

I would recommend using www.123-reg.co.uk to buy the web domain name first. That way you own the name, most webdesigners should be able to work with a domain registered at 123-reg due to its flexible control panel, and if relations with any potential web design suppliers turn funny, it is easier for you to walk away with your web domain name.

I have had first hand experiance of an unbelievable service from a company called www.orangepips.com. I run a website at www.investalist.co.uk. It has a database of discounted UK and foreign property. It also has many of the features you mention. I am so happy with the service I have received. The main guy there is called Jonathan and nothing but nothing is too much trouble. They are based in Canada but that has caused us no problem at all even though we are UK based. Orangepips are technically sound, do what they say, call when they promise and deliver on the dates set out in their agreements and to top it all - their charges are extremely reasonable. What more can we say!!
I have just read through a lot of the other replies posted. many are advertising their own services. BE CAREFUL. Use recommendations.
