Hello everyone,
I've got myself into a bot of a muddle by agreeing to exhibit at a forthcoming bridal show (I'm a personal trainer).
It's a great promotions opportunity but I now realise that as well as printed literature, I'm going to need some kind of back drop to the table e.g. a banner, or stand up advertising.
Can anybody recommend a company that produces banners and stand up advertising? Has anybody exhibited? Can you give me any tips? Help!?
Keir
PS Thanks for help on Freelancers question... I've got to employ them. Boooo

Hi there,
It wouldn't by any chance be in Excel would it?
If you are interested in a quote, send me an email nasrin@elaborations.co.uk - let me know exactly what you are looking for and I'll see what I can do. We don't have the printing facitilies, but we have contracts with local suppliers so will be able to get it cheaper.

Make sure that you capture potential clients contacts - phone number, email etc all very valuable. Maybe offer a competition for a months free training as an incentive for them to give you this. I used to work at a bridal magazine and had to attend shows. The best advice I can give you is to charm them! Make sure you have someone with you who is nice and toned too. As an opening starter the best line is "When's the big day?". Hope it goes well.

Thanks, good advice. We thought of some kind of competition to capture data and actually one month's training is the prize. My brother is a bit of a charmer so will be out front woo-ing the brides to be! Thanks once again...

Hi Keir
If your budget can stretch to it you may want to consider hiring two promotions staff to walk around who spend most of their days doing it. At exhibitions that we have attended it's usually the hired staff that got the better results off us giving them details. They can usually walk around chatting to visitors leaving you to chat to qualified leads sent to your stand.
There's plenty of agencies that supply these people, contact the exhibition company and ask them to recommend a couple that are local to the venue.

We manufacture pop-up display systems (but sell to trade-only) and can put you in touch with one of our distributors local to you who can help.
neo3media - who's pop-ups are you supplying? You could become a distributor of ours and be able to sell the best pop-up in the market at low prices and still make a healthy margin.
Check out www.coredisplay.com if you are interested.
Keir - contact me if you need any advice or assistance.
Clem.

Keir,
Know exactly what you mean about sorting out show's... they can be great fun though.
What size banners are you after, I use a great little place near us that does them dirt cheap (but very good quality) let me know dimensions and I will get some prices for you.
Also, I have an exhibition stand that you can hire if you don't want to shell out hundreds for a brand new one? It has a blank front as well so you can put whatever you need on show.
If you want to chat through any ideas or need any help give me a shout as I do several of these a year for a number of people. I can point you in the right direction for loads of cheap providers such as merchandise, staff for the stand, data capture systems etc.
