Hi,
I am looking for suppliers of furnishing packages for rentals/ sales.
I would like to offer this service to landlords as I find it certainly lets quicker.
Also if selling the property "dressed" , it makes it so much nicer and again sells much quicker ,also often getting a much better price.
Kind regards
Patnancy49

Precisely.
Most landlords, however, would not be inclined to have a third party 'dress' their property, unless you're dealing in the very upper (£500pw) market. Obviously, in this sector Focus would be an insult.
For the average property investor/developer, they are much more interested in maximising their investment by doing as much as posssible themselves.
Cheers, Nigel

Fraid to say Focus would be more than an insult.
Do people pay as little as £500 pcm?????????
Anyways thanks for your kind reply.
I am actually looking for professional packages that include all funiture, white goods etc.
I do not want have to source individual things myself.

What's '£500 pcm' got to do with it?
In my post above you should note that my reference was to '£500pw' as I was alluding to the 'upper' market. Why seek assistance if you choose to misconstrue it then throw it back at me?
Regards,
Nigel

Right................
In reply to Gill whats your name.
I happen to live near Brighton & Hove and if I choose to go for the better end of the market ,why not?
I like the nicer things in life , so why shouldn't my tenants and landlords.
I do not know why you have a problem with that.
Get a life and get on with it.
Nigel ............
You choose to reply but obviously did not read my initial enquiry.
"I am looking for suppliers of furnishing packages for rentals/ sales. "
Furnishing package means exactly that .Surely I do not have to explain it .But as you misunderstood me the first time I will.
There are sites on the web offering that service and I wanted to do a deal with the people that do.
Hence my enquiry on here.
You are the one that miscontrued it.
I am came on here looking to do business with someone offering me a product that I wanted and instead get two
juvenile replies.
I wish you both have very New Year and and hopefully you are both more respectful and polite to your own clients.
Than either of you were to me.
I did not know this was a "closed club" and newbies who already are doing well are not welcome.
You both may rant and rave about me but only prooves my point of how rude you both are.

Hello all
'Nigel ............
You choose to reply but obviously did not read my initial enquiry.'
Really?
It is not in the interests of the forum that this thread degenerates to a debate - that is not my intention. However, I believe the underlying reason, and foundation, of this forum is to assist those starting their business. That is my sole intention - I am beyond start-up and choose to assist those who are in a similar position that I was in a few years ago.
Certainly, the original post requested 'packages', I acknowledge that and did so throughout my post. It is up to us, when seeking to respond to a query, to offer a range of information and alternatives. One would usually suspect that a 'start-up' has prime concern for maintaining and controlling expenditure. It is therefore reasonable to offer other scenarios for sourcing the requested product. Surely that is why a member makes a request - to receive a range of opinion? If that were not the reason, one may as well just 'Google' whatever product or service they require!
It is and was not out of order to simply suggest that Focus product may meet the need of the original poster, and I'm sure a prudent property developer would echo my belief. The main point here though, is that I also forsaw that if the property was in the 'upper' market, (qualified by my rental figure of £500 per week) Focus would not be appropriate.
To then be met with my assistance being challenged with misquoted figures illustrated an air of contemptuousness, infering that I did not know what I was talking about. Fair enough, I guess; one either chooses to accept or not accept advice from here.
Fortunately, the bulk of members and visitors to this forum respect the various forms of advice and assistance they receive. There never has been a 'closed club' aura about this forum, though when one reads of insults directed at 2 members in the one thread, it does not present itself as being a club.
I have offered nothing rude in my posting above, though did challenge the reason for misquoting the rental amount. If I have offended you, Patnancy, by that, I sincerely apologise.
Kind regards,
Nigel

Some people are born to be rude. They need to have a good act to develop business relationships.
