Hi,Im aware that when you start a new business you must tell the tax man and pay taxes.

My question is if the business makes no profit or even a loss I assume you pay no tax, any chance of a refund/cash back to cover all my losses?

This may sound dumb but I'm very new to this so why bother telling the tax man if you make no profit!
